PRIVACY STATEMENT

Eazybranch (Pty) Ltd with registration number 2012/123698/07, is a company which functions in the transportation, storage and logistics sector, providing warehousing and fulfilment services for clients, eCommerce clients, retail and marketplace deliveries, and is obliged to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (the POPI Act).

The POPI Act gives effect to the constitutional right to privacy by safeguarding personal information when processed by a responsible party, subject to justifiable limitations that are aimed at:

a) balancing the right to privacy against other rights, particularly the right of access to information; and

b) protecting important interests, including the free flow of information within the Republic and across international borders.

The POPI Act requires the data controller to inform its clients, customers, suppliers and employees as to the manner in which their personal information will be processed, used, disclosed and destroyed. The data controller ensures that it will take reasonably practical steps to ensure that the data subject is aware of the information being collected and where the information is not collected from the data subject, the source from which it is collected.

The data controller is committed to delivering and maintaining a level of excellence pertaining to privacy and the security of the data subject’s communications and information. This policy will outline the practices and commitments to the data subject made by the data controller.

In dealing with the large volume and detail of information of a personal and business nature, the data controller understands that the data subject expects an extremely high level of privacy, security and discretion in its practices. This policy exists to educate the data subject on the types of communication the data controller collects and how the information is protected and used by the data controller and how and when the information is shared. By choosing to engage with the data controller, the data subject accepts the terms and conditions and practices within this privacy policy.
